Five-Star Google Reviews from Our Smiling Patients
They were amazing from the start. I needed to get my both bottom wisdom teeth extracted. The whole staff was very kind to me from the front desk ladies to the nurses and doctor. The day of my procedure I was a nervous wreck, I honestly have a big fear of dental work. But the nurses were comforting me and one gave me a hug. I just felt more at ease in their care.
View On GoogleDr. Dillard and staff are really great! I have had headaches that caused more discomfort than this tooth extraction. I needed a baby tooth that was fused to the bone jawbone removed for a dental implant. I have had no bruising, discomfort or complications. I recommend Dr. Dillard to anyone who needs major or extensive dental surgery...

Dental Implants
Implants act as artificial tooth roots that encourage healthy jawbone growth and give your restorations a long-lasting, stable base. Dr. Dillard will surgically implant strong titanium rods into your jawbone that will eventually support natural-looking, fully-functional tooth restorations. These restorations, which will be created and attached to the implants by your regular dentist, will replace your missing teeth, making eating and chewing easier to do while restoring your smile.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Wisdom teeth are a third set of molars that start growing in your late teens to early 20s. They usually need removal by an oral surgeon as sometimes they grow in crooked, don't break through the gum (impacted) which can cause infections, or crowd existing teeth, causing bite problems. Dr. Dillard is a skilled maxillofacial surgery professional who can extract these unneeded molars using local anesthesia or relaxing sedation dentistry.

Bone Grafting
When you lose a tooth, the bone beneath it loses density and shrinks, weakening the structure and making implants difficult to anchor into your jaw. In this case, Dr. Dillard can perform a maxillofacial surgery procedure called a bone graft to encourage new bone growth. Your existing jawbone is exposed during the surgery and then a safe, sterile bone-grafting material is added on top to build and strengthen it. After a healing period, Dr. Dillard can then proceed with your implant surgery.

What about TMJ Disorder Treatment?
Dr. Dillard does not specifically treat TMJ disorders. However, he can check for various oral conditions, including early signs of TMJ disorders, during your initial comprehensive exam. Some of the surgical procedures he performs can keep your bite properly aligned in order to stop TMJ issues from developing or getting worse.
