View On GoogleThey were amazing from the start. I needed to get my both bottom wisdom teeth extracted. The whole staff was very kind to me from the front desk ladies to the nurses and doctor. The day of my procedure I was a nervous wreck, I honestly have a big fear of dental work. But the nurses were comforting me and one gave me a hug. I just felt more at ease in their care.

Root Canal
When bacteria and decay reach the inner chamber of a tooth, it results in a dental infection. This can cause sharp pain, swelling, and discoloration of the tooth. A root canal can eliminate the infection and save the natural tooth by completely removing the soft tissue within the tooth and protecting the hard exterior with a filling or dental crown.

Fillings & Dental Crowns
If you are experiencing tooth pain that is caused by a fracture or cavity, we can repair the structure of your tooth with either a filling or dental crown. Both treatments protect the weak area of your enamel and can prevent further decay and infection of the tooth.

Avulsed Tooth Repair
A knocked-out tooth (also known as an avulsed tooth) requires immediate attention from an emergency dentist. It is possible to reattach the tooth if the root remains viable. Dr. Dillard will remove the damaged nerves and tissue and secure the tooth in place with a splint until the root reattaches to the bone.

Emergency Tooth Extraction
Certain cases of impaction, infection, or trauma might require an emergency tooth extraction. Dr. Dillard will administer a local anesthetic and remove the affected tooth. Once you have healed, we can replace the tooth with one of our many restorative solutions, including restorations supported by dental implants.
Replacing Your Teeth With Dental Implants
If your dental emergency caused you to lose one or more of your natural teeth, don't worry. Our Charleston practice offers top-of-the-line restorative dentistry with dental implants. Implants are inserted into the jaw to replace lost tooth roots, creating a permanent foundation for a dental prosthetic. Another important benefit of this treatment is that implants provide the stimulation needed to halt jawbone atrophy following tooth loss.
Once we treat your dental emergency, we can help you decide if dental implants are the best way to restore your smile.

"I would recommend this office to anyone!"
Dr. Dillard and staff are really great! I have had headaches that caused more discomfort than this tooth extraction. I needed a baby tooth that was fused to the bone jawbone removed for a dental implant. I have had no bruising, discomfort or complications. I recommend Dr. Dillard to anyone who needs major or extensive dental surgery. Both the Mount Pleasant and West Ashley locations are top notch medical facilities.
View On GoogleExcellent customer service! I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here at once. They explained the entire procedure to me before I decided to go ahead and have the surgery. The staff was extremely professional and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I would recommend this office to anyone! I was also impressed with how clean the office and operating room was!
