So I opened this office back in 2011, trained at Ohio State and then went into the Navy. Active duty for three years over in Japan and then came back to Charleston here in the Low Country. My dad was in the Army for a number of years and then got out and he actually became interested in dentistry and he became an endodontist when he was in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Growing up, you, a lot of times, you don't necessarily want to follow your parent's footsteps. Sometimes you want to do your own thing. But as I learned more and more about it, I really started to appreciate what he was doing and really thought it was something I was interested in. I enjoy helping the patients, you know, taking care of them. Most of them come in having some sort of having pain or some sort of problem. What I enjoy most about working with the patients is being able to help them get better but I enjoy learning more about them too. You know, the patients' experience here is really what it's all about. I mean, that's what it kind of comes down to. That's why I'm here.
